President Donald Trump announced today that conservative activist Charlie Kirk has died after being shot during an event in Utah.
“Charlie Kirk, the Great and even Legendary, has died,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“No one understood or felt the spirit of young people in the United States better than Charlie,” the president continued. “He was loved and admired by EVERYONE, especially by me, and now he is no longer with us. Melania and I send our condolences to his wonderful wife, Erika, and the family. Charlie, we love you!”
