The coach of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, has complained about the reference, but also about his players after the defeat that the “Reds” suffered last night from Manchester United with a result of 1:2 at “Old Trafford”.
The German coach insists that one of the goals of the “Red Devils” was scored irregularly, while he thinks that his players could have done more in this match.
“We were unlucky in some situations against an opponent like United. It would have been enough to score 1:1 in the first half. In the beginning they were quite aggressive, it was clear what was going to happen. They were more aggressive than us, but they even hit the post at the beginning”, declared Klopp after the game for “Sky Sports UK”.
“They scored the goal and we took command of the game and played the game we wanted. The second goal is difficult to follow, it was an offside position, but we have to work to avoid mistakes. It wasn’t a perfect performance, it was clear that United would be unlocked with this win. We were not 100% ready”, concluded the German coach.
Liverpool has started the new season rather weak.
