Enzo Fernández has given his first statement as a Manchester City player, expressing his happiness at completing the transfer and his readiness to begin this new chapter in his career.

The Argentine midfielder thanked the club’s officials for their trust and for the work they put in to make the transfer happen.
“I want to thank Hugo, Enzo, Khaldoon and everyone at City who made this deal possible. I want to repay the trust that has been placed in me as quickly as possible,” he added.
The 25-year-old Fernández joined Manchester City from Chelsea and has signed a contract until the summer of 2031.
