Harry Kane has made history in the Bundesliga in his first season with Bayern Munich, with a record that may never be repeated again.
As Bayern finally suffered a setback in the league after a dominant streak of 11 consecutive titles, no one can blame Kane for this failure.
Since joining Bayern from Tottenham in the summer for €82 million, Kane has scored 42 goals in as many games in all competitions.
35 of these goals have come in the Bundesliga, and after the 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, Kane now holds one of the most impressive statistics in German football.
He has become the first player to score or assist against all 17 teams in his debut season.
Kane completed this record with the two goals scored against Frankfurt, including the penalty that gave the Bavarians the victory.
He has scored against 16 teams in German football’s elite out of 17 in total, failing to find the net only against Freiburg.
These two goals take the English representative to the mark of 400 career goals, meaning it is his best-scoring season ever, surpassing the 41 goals he scored for Tottenham in the 2017/2018 season under Mauricio Pochettino’s orders.
