At the end of the match, Djibril Sow netted a consolation goal for Sevilla.
Barcelona recorded their 15th consecutive home victory and extended their long unbeaten run against Sevilla on their own ground.
With this win, the team coached by Hansi Flick reached 70 points, four more than Real Madrid in second place.
