Barcelona considers selling its main star: €35 million on the table

Barcelona has received a €35 million offer for Robert Lewandowski from Saudi Arabia ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports from Fichajes.

The Polish striker, who is expected to leave Camp Nou next summer when his contract expires, could complete his move earlier than anticipated. An unidentified club from the Saudi League has taken steps to bring Lewandowski in as early as January, having already sent an official offer to Barcelona.

The report notes that the Catalan management is carefully reviewing the proposal and has not ruled out the sale of the 37-year-old. Although the club urgently needs additional income, the coaching staff is aware of the importance of Lewandowski’s experience and contribution during the second half of the season.

At this point, the final decision will depend on Hansi Flick and the club’s financial directors, who must balance the sporting and economic needs.

Meanwhile, it remains unclear whether the Polish forward is open to leaving the Catalan side, as he is currently recovering from injury.
