Donald Trump has warned Hamas to immediately hand over the bodies of hostages within the next 48 hours, otherwise other countries involved in the Middle-East peace agreement will take action.
The American President, in a post, emphasized the importance of preserving peace in the Middle East and expressed his belief that it could be “sustainable.” However, he stressed that in order to preserve this peace, Hamas must return the hostage bodies, including two American citizens. “Hamas must begin returning the bodies quickly,” he underlined, adding that some are difficult to recover. Nevertheless, Trump said that “other bodies can be returned now and for some reason are not.” He suggested that the delay might be tied to disarming Hamas members, noting that the agreement requires “full compliance from both sides.” ynetglobal+1
“Let’s see what they do in the next 48 hours,” concluded the President, stressing that he was monitoring the situation “very closely.”
