A man killed at least five people at a food market in Bangkok before taking his own life, police said.
The victims at the Or Tor Kor market in Thailand’s capital included five security guards, officers told Reuters.
Two women were also injured.
“Police are investigating the person’s identity and the motive behind the incident,” Thai police said in a statement.
The market mainly sells agricultural products and is a well-known area for both Thai and foreign tourists.
