Mundo Deportivo: Mbappe Unhappy at Real Madrid

It’s becoming increasingly clear that Kylian Mbappé isn’t going through his best moment. The French striker has just been left out of the French national team list, despite Didier Deschamps admitting that Mbappé wanted to be present for France’s next two matches in the Nations League.

Moreover, the player has become the focus of criticism following Real Madrid’s last two painful losses at Santiago Bernabéu—first in La Liga against Barcelona and then against Milan in the Champions League.

In both games, the Frenchman failed to score, which has led to criticism of him, particularly in France.

So far, the former PSG player has played fifteen official matches, scoring eight goals, three of which have come from penalty kicks. Specifically, 50% of his six goals in La Liga have been penalties. Additionally, he scored once against Stuttgart in his Champions League debut but hasn’t scored in the subsequent three matches.

These stats reflect Mbappé’s dissatisfaction with Real Madrid’s style of play. According to Mundo Deportivo, Mbappé is not pleased with Real Madrid’s football. In fact, he is unhappy with Carlo Ancelotti’s tactical system.

The former PSG player has reportedly admitted as much to his close friends. Accustomed to the system in Paris, where he was the main focal point and the team played around him, he isn’t experiencing the same dynamic at Real Madrid.

His frustration is becoming evident on the field, where he has shown uncharacteristic performances and has missed chances that he would not typically fail to convert.
