Jose Mourinho is said to be aiming to replace Erik ten Hag as the manager of Manchester United this summer.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Mourinho is eyeing a return to a hot managerial seat in the Premier League ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
It is learned that Mourinho has informed close friends that he would “walk” to Old Trafford if given the opportunity to manage the club once again, Sportsmole.co reports,
The 61-year-old is said to be on good terms with United’s new minority owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who has taken control of football operations from the Glazer family.
However, it is believed that the INEOS group is not currently considering Mourinho as a possible replacement for Ten Hag as the season draws to a close.
