Carlo Ancelotti believes that Italian coaches are the best in the world of football.
The Real Madrid coach recently welcomed a group of students, including two former famous players, Alessandro Del Piero and Ignazio Abate. In order to be able to manage a team in Serie A, Italians must undergo a course determined by the FIGC and obtain a Master’s degree.
This is an intensive process with lectures and a final thesis, but it also includes visits to clubs to study their methodology.
This group is currently spending two days at Real Madrid, where they are also receiving guidance from Ancelotti.
“I always remember the coaching school, because that’s where you start learning what it means to be a coach. I remember the exchange of ideas and perspectives we had among classmates,” said the “Los Blancos” coach initially.
“I have to reiterate: Italian coaches are the best in the world,” he declared. Ancelotti is undoubtedly an excellent example of success, having won the Champions League four times and being the only coach in history to have won five league titles in the top European leagues.
Among the students listening to Ancelotti were Juventus legend Del Piero, the current coach of AC Milan’s youth team, Ignazio Abate, Udinese’s new assistant, Giampiero Pinzi, and former midfielder Cristian Ledesma.
