POEM BY DEBO AJIBADE (NIGERIA)

A SMILE OF CONTENTMENT

Oftentimes life illogical appears,
Incongruous, unattractive and meaningless,
Dissecting the weakness of reason,
And ascertains the strength of love.

High hope hinged on one day,
A day so near,
When tightly I will grip
And squeeze you tenderly hard.

Feeling your hands stroke my back,
A sensation electrifying my whole being.
Pulling down your underlays slowly,
Dragging down in a methodic,
With fingers tracing your sleek hips,
Meandering through your bits
Like Moses’ rod parted the red sea
My heart pants!

The sweet moan speaking louder in deadening silence,
Beaconing for more,
Saying till I lost in the paradise of you.
Hu u u, hu u u; not painful! but
A sing song, ding dong of lovebirds,
Signalling climax,
When the crown head touches the inner temple’s wall
Like raindrops to the thirsty ground.

I will ginger you all over,
Sucking those luscious nipples,
As they stand at attention waiting,
Waiting for my tongue’s command,
Hands at the tits basement,
Rubbing, pumping the full breast,
A tasty state of orgasm.

And in that stiffened moment,
Everything momentarily stand still,
As life is poured into the pot of life;
Then you gasp for breath,
Eyeballs to eyeballs, we shall gaze
With a satisfactory beaming smile.
O what a great day of expectation!
