Real Madrid have been one of the most active clubs during the summer transfer window, making several new signings while also allowing a number of players to leave the squad.
The Los Blancos are reportedly close to completing the reinforcement phase of their transfer strategy, having brought in six new players. The club’s focus has now shifted toward departures, particularly first-team players who are not part of head coach José Mourinho’s plans.
According to Marca, Mourinho and the club’s hierarchy have identified four players who could leave the club this summer. They are Raúl Asencio, Eduardo Camavinga, Endrick, and Thiago Pitarch.
Pitarch is currently considered one of the most likely players to leave the Santiago Bernabéu, having attracted interest from Fulham.
The English club is managed by former Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa, who could be an important factor in facilitating the player’s potential transfer.
Meanwhile, the situations surrounding Camavinga and Asencio are more complicated. Both players are reportedly keen to remain in Madrid and fight for a place in Mourinho’s starting lineup.
On the other hand, Endrick could leave the club on a temporary basis. The Brazilian could be sent out on loan once again, particularly following the arrival of Carlo Espi, who is expected to be ahead of him in the attacking pecking order.
Therefore, after working to strengthen the squad, Real Madrid are now expected to focus on squad management and the departure of players who are not part of the Portuguese manager’s plans.
