Arsenal have signed midfielder Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United in a £75 million transfer.
The 28-year-old has signed a four-year contract, with an option for an additional year, according to Sky News, as reported by Klankosova.tv.
Speaking about his move to Arsenal, Guimarães, who will wear the No. 39 shirt for the Gunners, said:
“I feel amazing. I’m so happy about this opportunity. From the first time I spoke with [Andrea] Berta and Mikel [Arteta], I was excited. I just felt inside me that I needed a new challenge in my life, and I think being an Arsenal player will be an exciting challenge in my life.
