Allegri and Milan Set for Final Split, Napoli Move Expected Next Week

According to several reports from Italy, AC Milan and Massimiliano Allegri are expected to finalize the mutual termination of his contract on Wednesday, clearing the way for the Italian coach to become Napoli’s new manager.

Although Milan previously dismissed Allegri, together with club executives Igli Tare, Giorgio Furlani, and Geoffrey Moncada, his contract remains legally valid.

For this reason, before signing with Napoli, Allegri must first reach an agreement with the Rossoneri regarding the termination of his contract.

Earlier reports had suggested the possibility of legal disputes, with both parties maintaining firm positions regarding the terms of his departure and the financial settlement package.

However, according to Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia, and other Italian media outlets, the two sides are now very close to finalizing the details, and the agreement is expected to be signed on Wednesday.

Allegri has already reached a preliminary agreement on a two-year contract with Napoli, where he is set to replace Antonio Conte.

The move will also reunite him with Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna, with whom he previously worked at Juventus.

Once the agreement is completed, the parties are expected to immediately begin planning Napoli’s summer transfer strategy and the club’s new sporting project. ⚽🇮🇹
