Jurgen Klopp remains the best-known name for the role of coach of the German national team, especially after the disappointing results of the current coach of Germany, Hans Flick.
Klopp, commenting on rumors about his future, did not rule out the possibility of managing Germany, but only after the end of his contract with Liverpool, which expires in 2026.
“The job of the coach of the national team is and would be a great honor, there is no doubt about it,” Klopp said at a round table of the Fischer group of companies, as reported by “Welt”.
Klopp is with the squad in Donaueschingen to prepare for next season. On this occasion, he visited the company where his father had worked for 30 years as a brand ambassador.
“The problem that stands in the way is my loyalty. I can’t leave Liverpool now and say I’m going to take control of Germany for a period. It couldn’t work, there wasn’t even a request for that,” stressed the German coach.
