Cristiano Ronaldo’s former bodyguard has revealed how much he used to earn while protecting the Portuguese football superstar.
Ronaldo is not only one of the biggest stars in football but also one of the most famous people on the planet.
This level of fame naturally comes with security risks, and Ronaldo has needed protection for most of his legendary career.
Hichman Bukhari is a private military contractor (PMC) and close protection operative (CPO), with over 127,000 followers on Instagram.

He spent four years working to keep Ronaldo and his family safe during the player’s time in Madrid.
Hichman gave an interview to Telecinco, in which he revealed that Ronaldo would pay him €900 per day for his services.
The bodyguard added that the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player was not considered a high-risk client in terms of threats to his life.
“We always need to know where we are going, who will be there, and have clear entry and exit points, as well as contact points,” he revealed.
“We must always be aware that our life could be at risk. We have to be ready to protect someone, and sometimes we may have to give our life to protect them.”
“If I need to use a weapon, I will. The most important thing is to have the ability to think quickly, solve problems, and stay calm in tough situations.”
“He’s the best boss I’ve ever had,” Hichman continued. “We have a good relationship.”
“Working with him wasn’t like working with someone under threat of death or kidnapping. We had a few funny incidents with paparazzi or crazy fans, but nothing major.”
