Simone Inzaghi, Inter’s coach, commented on this Friday in advance of the Champions League final. The Italian coach gave favoritism to the opponent, but said that they will try to take advantage of their opportunities,
“We know that we have a golden opportunity to write a golden page in football history. We know it will be very difficult, but together, as we have come this far, we will try. On the other side is the best team in the world, they have proven that and we know what awaits us. We are proud of this campaign, we will do our best and we must be fully focused. Reducing mistakes and taking advantage of opportunities will be key,” said the Inter coach.
“This will be the 57th game of our season, it has been a long journey, with some difficult moments. But it was with them that we grew up and got here. We learned from the defeats and it took a herculean effort to reach Istanbul. We will give everything to win”, he guaranteed.
