Xavi Hernandez believes Real Madrid are still favorites in the second semi-final of the Copa del Rey, even though Barcelona have a one-goal lead from the first leg.
Hernandez says that they will try to defend the result of the first match, as he mentions that Real Madrid is used to comebacks, reports Klankosova.tv.
“Our goal is the Supercup and La Liga. But Madrid is the champion of the League and of Europe. We will try to dominate, but it will not be easy. 0-1 is a very good result”, said Xavi.
“Extrasporting issues do not enter the locker room. We are not talking about UEFA, Negreira or Tebas here. They will come looking for revenge and we have to show that we can defeat them. The other is not our concern and we cannot control it.”
“These are feelings. I have the feeling that when it is our turn to play a double leg against Real Madrid, it is very difficult. You think when it’s your turn… how long has it been since they lost a game? That’s why I still think they’re the favorite, despite being 0-1. The pressure is on them.”
Xavi emphasized that tomorrow he expects an aggressive Real Madrid.
