The good news: Sebastian Haller is winning his battle with cancer

Sebastian Haller is winning the battle with the nasty illness and will soon be back in training with the hope of finally making his debut for Borussia Dortmund.

The German Yellow Pages paid 31 million euros in July to the coffers of Ajax, choosing the 28-year-old from Ivory Coast as the successor of Erling Haaland.

The tall striker was coming off a fantastic 34-goal season, but just days after signing with Dortmund he underwent testicular surgery. Then it was the turn of chemotherapy, another intervention in November, but never delivered. Bild reports that Haller will return to training in January. First working in the gym, then joining new teammates. Good news for the unique fans of Dortmund, but also all football fans.
