A sensational report from Italian newspaper La Stampa claims that Luciano Spalletti is ready to resign if Juventus fail to secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
The Italian coach took charge of the Bianconeri on October 30, 2025, and only a few weeks ago renewed his contract until June 2028.
However, according to reports, tensions exist within the club between Spalletti and director Damien Comolli, while the club owner and heir to the Agnelli family, John Elkann, is expected to make an important decision regarding their future.
The situation became significantly more complicated after the 2-0 defeat against Fiorentina, a result that saw Juventus drop to fifth place level on points with Como.
In the final week of the season, Juventus must win the derby against Torino and at the same time hope that at least one of AS Roma or AC Milan slips up in order to return to the Champions League zone.
According to La Stampa, Spalletti is prepared to leave of his own accord if he fails to achieve the club’s main objective for the season.
However, the possibility remains that Juventus could reject his resignation and convince the coach to continue the project by giving him greater authority in building the squad.
