Van Dijk Warns Arsenal Ahead of the Super Clash

Liverpool are preparing for one of the most anticipated and most important challenges of the season.

Tomorrow evening, the Reds will travel to London, where they will be hosted by Arsenal, the current Premier League leaders, for a confrontation seen as the last hope to keep alive their chances of a turnaround.

The reigning champions will arrive in London fully aware of the difficulty of this task, but also motivated by what they achieved in the first meeting: at Anfield, it was Liverpool who came out on top against Mikel Arteta’s side, writes Gazeta Express.

Speaking ahead of this super clash was captain Virgil van Dijk, who spoke after the 2–2 draw against Fulham last Sunday at Craven Cottage.

“It will be a big battle, we have to be ready,” the Dutch defender said, underlining the quality and strength of the opposition.

“Arsenal have a fantastic team with high quality, both among the starters and on the bench. We all know that at home they are unbeaten this season, I think in all competitions. It will be a very demanding challenge and we must be ready for a real battle. I can’t wait to play, and I think we should all approach matches like this with enthusiasm. It’s the only way to try to get a result; it’s another huge opportunity,” Van Dijk concluded.
