Cristiano Ronaldo has a message for Ruben Amorim following his appointment as Man United manager

Cristiano Ronaldo has wished Ruben Amorim good luck as the new manager of Manchester United. Amorim began his journey as United’s manager this week, following the board’s decision to sack Erik Ten Hag.

The 39-year-old will aim to “revive” the form of the “Red Devils,” starting with the match against Ipswich Town, which will be the Portuguese tactician’s first game in charge.

Ronaldo’s second spell as a United player ended after a fallout with Ten Hag, but the 39-year-old is eager to see Amorim succeed at Old Trafford.

“I wish him all the luck in the world. Manchester United really needs it,” Ronaldo said.

Earlier, it had been reported in the media that Ronaldo referred to Amorim as a “poet” during conversations with members of the Portuguese national team.

Additionally, Ronaldo touched on the topic of retirement, revealing that he might have only two years left before making a decision.

“I’m enjoying it. Planning my retirement from football—this will happen in a year or two, I don’t know. I’m enjoying the moment, I’m enjoying football,” said the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
