The Super Match Against Spain, Toni Kroos Responds to Joselu: It Won’t Be My Last Match

Germany will play against Spain in the quarterfinals of Euro 2024. Both teams are seeking victory, while the ‘battle’ between players has started remotely off the field.

Initially, it was former Real Madrid striker Joselu who ‘jabbed’ at Toni Kroos by saying that the latter would retire on Friday. However, the German midfielder immediately responded, expressing that he doesn’t think the match against Spain will be his last.

“We are in the quarterfinals and we are only thinking about triumphing in the end. We have a great desire to move forward, and we are convinced that we can do it, even though we are facing a team like Spain. They are a very good team, and I believe it will be a great match.

Joselu said this will be my last match? I know him very well, but I leave that wish to him, and we will do everything to ensure it doesn’t happen. I feel that it won’t be my last match, so we will see each other again,” said Toni Kroos, who will retire from football once his journey with Germany concludes.
