When you truly love someone,
you feel all that they feel,
in joy and in sorrow.
Their blood runs through your veins,
their skin becomes your skin,
their flesh, your flesh.
Their happiness becomes your happiness,
their suffering, your suffering.
When you truly love someone,
whoever they are,
whatever face they wear,
whatever thoughts they carry,
their soul becomes your own.
The one you love
becomes a part of you.
OUR SOULS
Tonight,
as on every night,

we shall meet in the true world,
so unlike the one that only seems real
and that we call the world.
