Croatia national team coach Zlatko Dalić has announced the official list of 26 players called up for the 2026 World Cup.
As expected, the man who will once again lead the Croatian team is their legendary captain, Luka Modrić, who will play in the fifth World Cup of his extraordinary career.
Dalić has decided to keep the core of the squad built around experienced veterans such as Modrić (who now plays for AC Milan), Mateo Kovačić and Ivan Perišić.
With this call-up, Luka Modrić once again confirms his remarkable longevity at the elite level of world football.
This fifth World Cup appearance in his career is not just a statistical achievement, but the latest proof of a leader who, even at the age of 40, remains the brain and soul of the Croatian national team on the international stage.
