Barcelona are very satisfied with Hansi Flick on the bench, but soon they will have to start thinking about life after him.
The former Bayern Munich and Germany coach has a contract until 2027 and is expected to retire from football at the end of the 2026/2027 season.
If this happens, Barcelona would be under pressure to secure a manager capable of handling the legacy and impact Flick will leave behind.
However, one of the potential candidates is Luis Enrique, who had an excellent spell in charge of the club between 2014 and 2017.

Luis Enrique led Paris Saint-Germain to their first-ever Champions League title last season, and although he signed a new contract until 2027 just a few months ago, it is now being reported that he could return to Barcelona once this deal expires.
According to Sport, journalist Daniel Riolo has stated that Luis Enrique is considering returning to Barcelona when his current contract with PSG ends.
“I’m more critical of those who idolize him than of him personally. Honestly, I don’t see in him the human qualities that people claim he has. He is 100 percent Barça. He’s someone who changes teams constantly,” Riolo said.
If Flick leaves in the summer of 2027, it would make a lot of sense for Barcelona to target Luis Enrique as his replacement, especially since he would be available at that time.
