“I Was Born There, I Play There” – Haaland on the Special Significance of Facing England

Norway star Erling Haaland has spoken about tonight’s World Cup quarter-final between his country and England.

The Manchester City striker, who was also born in England, reflected on what the match means to him personally.

“For me, it’s incredibly special because I play in England and I was born in England,” the Norwegian said.

“I think we all need to stay grounded, but at the same time we have to believe that we can make it through to the next round. Absolutely.”
