Barcelona’s highly rated talent, Dro Fernandez, has decided to activate his release clause during this January transfer window, and several European clubs have already begun showing interest in his transfer.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain have submitted their proposal for the talented Barcelona midfielder, with talks ongoing to secure his move in January.
The 18-year-old, who has a release clause worth €6 million, has informed the Catalan club that he will leave during this transfer window, and besides PSG, two other European clubs are also keen on signing him. Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund have also submitted concrete offers for Dro Fernandez, who has decided to leave Camp Nou permanently.
However, most reports indicate that PSG are in “pole position” for the 18-year-old midfielder, with his representatives carefully evaluating the offers without rushing, as a decision on his next destination is expected very soon.
At Barça, the departure of the Spanish talent comes as a major surprise, with head coach Hansi Flick deeply disappointed by his decision, especially after having given him playing time on several occasions this season.
