The well-known Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about his sympathy for Inter. At the same time, during his career, he played for Milan as a player and as a coach.
“Yes it is true! I always have sympathy for Inter, because it is the team of my childhood. From the age of 6 to 15 I was an Inter fan and then my views changed somewhat. Now I can say that I am one hundred percent Milanist”, said Ancelotti in an interview for Il Foglio.
Ancelotti recalls his work at Napoli and Everton
Sometimes things happen that go wrong. However, the experience with Napoli was positive. I wanted to go back to Italy and I did.
The period at Everton was a good adventure because we did important things. For example, we won the Liverpool derby at Anfield for the first time in 22 years. And yet when I got a call from Madrid, it was unexpected. The return was unexpected,” Ancelotti told Il Foglio.
Carlo Ancelotti is currently the coach of Real Madrid. Los Blancos share a place at the top of the La Liga table with Barcelona.
