The honorary president of the Bavarian club, Uli Hoenes, confirmed that the player is not for sale and is a key part of the team’s project. He emphasized that the club is not willing to sacrifice on-field quality for financial gain.
“Olise will not be sold, not even for €200 million. We play for the fans, not to fill the club’s coffers at the risk of our performance on the pitch,” Hoenes stated.
