Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has praised Kylian Mbappé, noting that beyond scoring goals, the French superstar is playing a major role within the team.
Mbappé is in exceptional form, having scored twenty-three goals in nineteen matches across all competitions, including four goals last week against Olympiacos in the Champions League. At a time when Real Madrid is striving for stability, Mbappé has become the team’s central figure.
“He has been fantastic individually, helping the team a lot. It’s not just about the goals — he brings leadership, influence, and motivates his teammates, all of which are very important every single day,” the coach said in the press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match against Athletic Bilbao.
