After Liverpool’s crisis, where will Salah end up?

Mohamed Salah is going through difficult moments at Liverpool, as he has been left out of the starting lineup for the last three matches and feels he is being unfairly blamed for the team’s poor form.

After the 3–3 draw against Leeds, where he remained on the bench for the entire match, the Egyptian made a strong statement, warning that he may leave the club after AFCON and that his relationship with coach Arne Slot has broken down.

Salah, 33, renewed his contract in April and earns around £400,000 per week, which makes his departure difficult for most European clubs.

However, according to reports in England, Saudi Pro League clubs are ready to finance a big offer for the Egyptian star, who had previously been strongly linked with Al Hilal and Al Ittihad, writes Gazeta Express.

Negotiations in January could be complicated by his participation in AFCON, but Saudi interest remains strong. Salah himself has previously admitted that his transfer to the SPL “would have happened” if he had not renewed with Liverpool.
