Lionel Messi will be fit for Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Brazil despite not having played for a while, coach Lionel Scaloni said on Wednesday.
Messi played his last match with Inter Miami on October 21.
“Messi is training normally, he is fit and well”, said the Argentine coach in a press conference.
After four wins from four games, Argentina are at the top of the South American qualifying group with twelve points. The world champions face Uruguay on Thursday before taking on Brazil next Tuesday.
