The Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, has not even been a full year since he moved to Saudi Arabia and has already earned a large amount of money in this country, British media have reported.
On December 30 last year, Ronaldo signed a contract with Saudi club Al-Nassr after a dispute with Erik ten Hag and left Manchester United.
Ronaldo’s move to Arabia also attracted many football stars who followed in his footsteps.
Names such as Neymar, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez, Jordan Henderson, Ruben Neves and many others came to Saudi Arabia one after the other.
All of them earn staggering sums in Saudi Arabia, but none come close to Ronaldo. The salary of the Portuguese is 203 million euros per year, while the interesting fact is that he collects more than 4 million euros per week.
British media have calculated the figure he has won in Saudi Arabia so far. From December to his last salary in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo earned just over 175 million euros, which confirms that the transfer was more than worth it.
Ronaldo obviously didn’t come to Asia just to make money and has already scored 36 goals for his new club. His son Cristiano Junior (13), who has proven to have great talent, also plays for Al-Nassr’s age groups.
