ABC newspaper has reported that on September 20, the home of Sergio Ramos and Pilar Rubio in Seville was robbed during a match and that their four children were at home during the attack.
Reporter Jesus Diaz reports that the late-night robbery happened during Sevilla’s 1-1 draw against Lens in the Champions League.
According to him, the four children of the couple and their guardians, who were at the farm La Alegroa (Bollullos de the Mitacion) were inside, but were not harmed.
At the time of the robbery, according to ABC Seville investigative sources, Ramos was at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium and his wife was out of town for professional reasons.
This is not the first time the Spanish star has been robbed, as Ramos already suffered a robbery at his home in Madrid in 2012 when he also shot himself in the house.
The then Real Madrid player saw two people enter his home when he was in the company of his brother Rene.
“They were inside, but it was not a violent robbery as there was no confrontation”, said sources close to the captain of Los Blancos.
The thieves had not planned to meet anyone in the house and fled in terror.
