Real Madrid have been given a headache by Jude Bellingham’s untimely injury ahead of the Atletico Madrid derby.
The English midfielder has been in sensational form for Los Blancos since his €103 million move from Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham has scored six and assisted one of Real’s 11 goals so far this season.
The sight of Bellingham having to leave training early on Friday was a very unwelcome sight for all at the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, the 20-year-old is dealing with a stomach complaint.
At the moment it is unclear whether the problem was muscular or an illness. Real’s medical team are said to be confident Bellingham will be ready for La Liga duty this weekend.
Ancelotti is already without Dani Carvajal, Vinicius Junior, Arda Guler, Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois, but has guided his side to five consecutive wins in the Spanish top flight – with a perfect record that puts them at the top of the table.
