Ramos after playing for Sevilla after 18 years: ‘Now I can die peacefully and happily’

18 years later, Sergio Ramos has returned to wear the Sevilla shirt, while he was the starter yesterday in the challenge of the Andalusians against Las Palmas.

The Spanish central defender led the Mendilibar team for the first time this season and after the game he commented on the emotions he had through the microphone of Movistar,

“I felt strong emotions like the day I came here. It makes me happy to meet again with my people, with my fans, with my home. I can’t put it into words and there’s no better way to do it than with a win. I hope it’s just the beginning of something good”, declared Ramos after the game.

“At first I had doubts about how they would receive me, but the next day when I did the medical visits, I told my people that now I can die peacefully and happily. I saw generosity and hospitality, this is what I needed”, concluded the Spanish footballer, who after leaving Sevilla had played successfully in Real Madrid, while he had a depressing two-year experience in Paris Saint-Germain.
