Ronaldo decides to sue Juventus, says he owes him close to 20 million euros

Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to proceed with legal action against Juventus for unpaid wages.

The Portuguese star – who spent three years in Turin – is seeking to be paid the €19.9 million net he was promised by the club when he agreed to defer his wages during the first months of the Covid-19 pandemic.

These deferred salaries are part of Juventus’ already infamous ‘salary maneuvers’, which are the subject of the ongoing Prisma legal case, Italian media reports, Klankosova.tv reports.

After requesting the relevant documents from the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office, Ronaldo has already decided to take legal action against Juventus, causing another headache for the Old Lady.

Leonardo Bonucci also recently launched legal action against the club, seeking damages after he was unceremoniously banned from Massimiliano Allegri’s side.

Paulo Dybala, on the other hand, has reached an agreement with Juventus for about three million euros that he owed him. He has now dropped his claim regarding compensation for continuing his contract after the initial verbal agreement.
