A Milanese referee is selected for the Inter-Milan super-derby
Simone Sozza is the referee who will judge the Inter-Milan derby, scheduled for Saturday at 18:00, the super challenge of the fourth week of Serie A
For the first time in the history of the Milan derby, this match will be judged by a Milanese referee.
Di Paolo has been appointed as the first of the VAR room, while Piccinini will be the VAR assistant, Carboni and Giallatini are the assistant referees, while the fourth official is Guide.
The 36-year-old Sozza has managed Inter’s matches three times in his career, challenges which the “black and white” have always won, in the 2021-2022 season in 3-1 against Roma, last season 1-2 against Sassuolo and 1- 0 in “San Siro” against Napoli. Milan’s balance is also positive, two games and as many successes. The first in the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup 2021-2022 (4-0 against Lazio), the second 2-1 against Fiorentina in 2022-2023.
