Mason Greenwood is keen to stay at Manchester United and show his worth again after a lengthy ban following allegations of rape and assault.
Greenwood is awaiting a final decision from the governing board on whether he can join the team after allegations of assault against his former partner were dropped.
According to The Sun, the England striker wants to stay and has told his friends that he “realises he has to grow up” after becoming a father earlier this month.
He is being encouraged to speak publicly and have his voice heard. But, privately, he has told his relatives that he has learned a lot.”
“He became a father for the first time earlier this month and he knows he has to grow up,” said a source close to Greenwood.
Otherwise, the England striker has not played a game for the Red Devils since January 2022 when he was suspended by the club’s management from Old Trafford.
