Official: Jordan Henderson, Al Ettifaq’s youngest player

Jordan Hederson becomes official at Al Ettifaq.
The news was announced by the club itself.

The Englishman will play in the club from Saudi Arabia for the next three years.

The player has confirmed that he will leave Anfield in a touching farewell video on Instagram.

Henderson thus ends a 12-year association with Liverpool to join a side that have not won in their four pre-season friendlies under Gerrard.

“I’m not sure I have the words to sum up how I feel right now. I’m in the dressing room for the last time and as you can imagine it’s very emotional,” says Henderson.

“I have to explain somehow what these last 12 years have felt personally, but my family. I still vividly remember that night in June 2011. I was excited and then nervous as the move from Sunderland became a reality. I can’t lie. There have been really difficult moments, but when I look back on my career at Liverpool, it will always be the good moments that I will remember,” the Englishman wrote.
