Luis Suarez can become the next footballer, who was once part of Barcelona, to join Inter Miami.
The club from the United States of America has confirmed its interest in the Uruguayan striker, reports Gazeta Express.
The co-owner of Inter Miami, Jorge Mas, said that they are interested in bringing Suarez, but first he must terminate his contract with the current club, Gremio. He has a valid contract with the Brazilian club until the end of next year.
“I don’t know how Luis Suarez can leave Grêmio. But if he does, we are free to talk to Luis and bring him to Inter Miami. I consider him a star player, with an outstanding career. And we all know he has a personal relationship with Lionel [Messi], Busi [Busquets] and Jordi [Alba]. We are all for it and we will welcome any player with the kind of career that Luis has, but we need to know more about his future before we make any moves,” Mas told ESPN.
He also confirmed that the deal with Jordi Alban is close to being finalised.
