Manchester City is already preparing for the new season.
The team which last season won the treble, tonight defeated the Japanese champions of Yokohama Marino, in the debut of the Asian tour, with a score of 5-3, in a challenge where “Citizens” star Erling Haaland scored two goals.
After the match, the manager of the champions of England and Europe, Pep Guardiola, has warned the rivals that Haaland is in better shape than last season.
“He is already in much better shape than last season. We know Erling. In a few weeks he will be in even better shape than now,” said Guardiola.
