Ilkay Gundogan has now officially been introduced to Barcelona.
The former Manchester City footballer, a few days ago was transferred to the Catalans, until today the president Joan Laporta has introduced the German midfielder.
Gundogan in his speech showed the reason why he chose Barcelona.
“Since I was a teenager, I have watched all Barça matches. Rijkaard’s team, Pep Guardiola’s. I am very proud to be here. I would like to thank everyone present. The president, the vice-president, Alemany Cruyff, who played a very important role for me to be here. Deco too”, said Gundogan.
He says that he came to “Balugranat” to invite trophies.
“I want to win. I want to keep winning and that’s why I’m here. I have great potential in this club”, said Gundogan.
