The Spanish legend has signed a contract valid until 2025.
Busquets joined the club from the United States of America as a free footballer.
The 35-year-old has spent his entire career at Barcelona, from where he left this summer.
He has won everything possible during the 15-year period in the Catalan first team.
Sergio Busquets has also won trophies with Spain, in the European Championship and the World Cup as well.
