The president of Brazil criticizes the decision to let Ancelotti lead Brazil

The President of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has criticized the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as the new coach of the Brazilian National Team, stating that he would be better off solving the problems of the Italian National Team.

The Italian will take charge of the Brazilians next June. Until then, the team will be led by Fluminense coach Fernando Diniz.

“I admire Ancelotti, but he has never coached the Italian national team. Why don’t you solve the problem of Italy, which did not qualify for the 2022 World Cup,” Lula said to the SBT television station. “I am a fan of Diniz. He has the personality, the creativity and he is the one who says the main word in the dressing room”.

Brazil was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the World Cup “Qatar 2022” by Croatia and coach Tite had resigned.
