Riyad Mahrez is considering leaving Manchester City and is considering a move to Saudi Arabia.
According to “Sports Zone”, the Algerian representative has already reached an agreement with the investment fund of Saudi Arabia, PIF for an eventual move to the Saudi Pro League.
The agreement includes his annual salary, which is expected to be 25 million euros.
However, the winger’s transfer hinges on Manchester City’s willingness to allow him to leave the club, with whom he has a contract until June 2025.
The right-wing player has contributed a lot in recent seasons to the success of “Citizens”, with whom in the last edition he won three trophies, the Champions League, the Premier League and the FA Cup.
His eventual departure is also related to the future of Bernardo Silva as coach Pep Guardiola is not ready to lose two quality players, as he was also without Ilkay Gundogan, who ended up in Barcelona.
Mahrez may end up in Al-Ahli, who offered him a two-year contract and in this period of time 50 million euros would be paid, reports “Gazeta Express”.
The club from Saudi Arabia has already transferred two other well-known players from the Premier League, striker Roberto Firmino and goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
