Poem by Valbona Hadri

On the contrary to the life
A light shines upon her face,
That drives away any remaining darkness.
She presses the pen on her white fingers and writes something on paper.

Sometimes she bites her thin lips.
She gonna keep that secret to herself
For people like toxic shadows and shackles of silence.

She wanted to remain a warrior of time,
In a timeless age of lies.

She had fought against time and her people.
She had suffered endless wounds in the battles.
She wanted to be alone amidst the silence,
Like an endless pain.

Much later she realizes what the world is,
And how it works ,
Without gloss and honest words.
In the face of people with demonic spirits.

Sitting alone and silently at the table,
Meditate on how to eat.
Hypocrites rule the world ,
What can she do about her sincerity?

Thoughts of waves of memories flash back.
Lots of clouds and rain in the sky,
Time pass, any moment through fog,
With a dark face and eyes of grudge.
