Karim Benzema has been confirmed as a new Al-Ittihad player in Saudi Arabia, where he will earn a staggering annual salary on a two-year contract with an option for a third year.
After 14 memorable years with the Spanish giants, Benzema decided it was time to leave Real Madrid for Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.
Benzema will be handed a three-year contract (two plus one) from Al Ittihad, worth 643 million dollars or 600 million euros./div>
According to journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, this means that Benzema will earn a full 214 million dollars or 200 million euros per year.
So with commercial deals included, the Frenchman is said to earn almost €200 million per season, which would be broken down into millions of euros each month or week.
